Hello,

A friend of mine recently sent me a music video on XMPP. It was about a
family of white foxes being slaughtered and then banding together to
bring the fight back to the crimelord moose. Ultimately reclaiming what
was stolen. I thought it was pretty fantastic and wanted to share it
here with everybody.

Anyways I look more into it and apparently it's from a full blown
series called 'BNA' short for Brand New Animal. I've watched it two
episodes in and it is absolutely fantastic. Here, see for yourselves.

lovely - reminds me of a lot of things, has a bit of bna, klasky-csupo,
invader zim... i appreciate it!

I'll leave "Wolf's Rain" (2003) as suggestion.
And also "Onmyou Taisenki" (2004).
And "Aggretsuko" (2016).
And "Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho" (2017).

In "Wolf's Rain" (2003), you follow a wolf pack that is searching
someone special who has a special scent for them and that can save the
life on Earth. The furry part of it is that wolves there are sentient,
feral, can pretend to be humans, and are both feared and hunted. There's
no second season and the end is open to multiple interpretations.

In "Onmyou Taisenki" (2004), you follow a human teen (12 y.o.) that
finds a special device that puts him in a quest way bigger than he could
ever expected. In that device, there's a demon, a muscular but thin
anthro white tiger. There's no second season and the end is well-delimited.

In "Aggretsuko" (2016), you follow am anthro red panda that lives in a
furry world, but no species plays any role in the narrative; it's about
human problems. More specifically, it's about a female that has a
serve-the-coffee and type the forms job that wants to marry to quit
their job, but can't find a love for their life. There's already 3
seasons and a 4th to come.

In "Zero Kara Hajimeru Mahou no Sho" (2017), you follow a muscular
anthro white tiger (a "bestial") that gets hunted because people believe
them to be witches' witchcraft instrument. In this fictive world,
witches are also hunted. He tries to be good and kind to everyone and
finds the witch that created all magic of that world by accident and
joins her on that quest. The story doesn't focus on being or not a
bestial. The last episode doesn't put a definitive end to the story and
a 2nd season is awaited.

i need to check those out! i started watching wolf's rain a bit ago, but it
never really grabbed me... aggretsuko is of course lovely :)

haven't even heard of the other two, but this is reminding me of "wolf
children" which i /somehow/ still haven't seen...
